It's a picture of the abdominal wall viewed from the inside after laparoscopic surgery. Likely a hernia operation. It's advertising for Gore, the makers of Goretex. It shows their product Dual-Mesh (bio material) complete with corkscrew staples and all.laugh

Currently this one is in Egyptian hieroglyphs with the Queen of Earth spreading her wings. Picked it up at the History museum in Berlin. Thousands to choose from; some friends bought enough to cover entire walls in their apartments! Neat!
