I don't like very long nails so I keep mine regular length, filed and usually with a french manicure which I do myself. Occasionally I'll paint them a bright colour but I prefer a nice clear polish and white tips.

Forgot to mention, I love manicured nails on men too. Dirty fingernails are a real turn off and I wouldn't want them anywhere near my intimate parts!

Mine are short.
I work too much with my hands to be fussing around with trying to keep a manicure or trying to keep paint from chipping or what not.
And if I get nervous or am trying to keep quiet, I tend to bite them.

For 20 years I worked as a dental assistant. Had to keep them short and nail polish wasn't allowed.

Now I enjoy growing them longer and experimenting with different color polish. Would love french tips but haven't gotten the hang of it yet. Always turns out messy looking.

I tried doing the nail thingy, and I was racing my quad, and I broke a nail for the first time, OMG, I don't know how the ladies do it. Never again.....not for me. I get to dirty when I fish, mud wrastle etc.... no time for nails motorcycle

I have long nails, but I don't usually paint them. If I do, its usually a clear polish.

When I bartended, I had acrylic overlays put on them. I got tired of always busting my nails when picking up kegs or opening bottles and the freezer doors. They were strong and pretty, but when I finally removed the overlays, they did some damage to my natural nails.
