1. I am closer to peace of mind---2. I have less laundry and meals to cook when "HE' wants it. ----3.I don't have to answer to anyone about anything. (Where is this, where is that,D'oh! ) was always where it was supposed to be. Hey I get lonely too, VERY LONELY in fact, some days but I was more lonley when I was married. Just 2 bad mistakes for me. I am too set in my ways now to do anything about it. Anyone who can make a go of it , I love those stories and believe it will happen for you.thumbs up kiss

Sorry I misread the title of this thread but to me there are no best things about being single to me.

being single is not my first option

but as i am single instead of saying "pitty me" i will try to enjoy the few things i can while being single

yes, there is nothing better that have her in my arms while she choose what we will watvh on TV

but she is not here
she is not next to me
she is not in my arms

at least i will try to enjoy a show on the TV instead of complainig i am alone

althought the question was not addresed to me, i feel i can answer that

(i have some how answered it in my previous post)

personally i belive that being in a loving relationship is better than being single

i hope i will find her

we can always choose abut being positive or negative

as a single person, now i am focusing in the advantages of being single
as a marriage minded person, i am also focused in the advantage of not being single

on does not mean the others one is bad

I totally agree with these!

1. The toilet seat's always down
2. The remote is solely mine
3. The lid is always on the toothpaste!

are you enjoying every single day all the pleasures that means being living with your mate?

if not? why are you here instead of being crying every single minute he is not next to you?

or is that you choose to look tings in a positive way
and you enjoy being here in the forums, while you wait to start the life toghether?

dont be picky in others words, try to understand feelings

For me I love love to have someone longterm but doesn't have to live with me. I can commit to a man but I can't live with him or , him probably with me. I have the rest of my life to find him anyway. I am in no hurry. Hell my great aunt finally fell in love at the age of 90 after her dictator of a husband died.thumbs up laugh
