No I don't think it is a last resort.... As for me in my case I quit drinking about a year ago and now I'm a single father and have a 10 month old daughter that lives with me. So when I'm not working I'm at home with her. So I woud say for about half of us it is simply the availability factor to go out and find someone. and 25% of the people on dating site unfortunitely are sickos, phychos, and what not. and the other 25% are probably people who may be shy, depressed, or might have a low self-esteem so it helps them feel like their part of a group or something along those lines.cheers
