Yes. My dad's parents never did have indoor plumbing..and raised 13 kids that way. None of the relatives on the farm had indoor plumbing.

Yup!

And you used white and brown corncobs. You would use a brown corncob.......then a white corncob to see if you need to use another brown corncob..rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

LOL! I remember using the corn cobs, but don't recall any color differentiation. Ouch! Just a tad scratchy. I do remember baby pigs running around under the outhouse when it was in use, however.
