Hi all, planning to visit the UK anytime from now. Haven't bought a ticket yet but will do as soon as i get all the info i need.

Was wondering what nice places to go to.... restaurants, clubs....where not to go...??


Got my visa way back in November but had a (another) safari to go to first. Hurry before my visa expires!!

If you're in London, there's a nice restaurant in Paddington just a few blocks from the Tube station. Its called "Ask". You can get pizzas, entrees, salads, etc. The atmosphere is excellent and the service is great. About mid-level on the price scale with white tablecloths.

There are outstanding museums, too. All the ones I visited were free, and I expect that they all are.

If the weather is nice, just strolling the streets is entertaining. But watch out for the candy stores! They'll cause you to overdo it!

visit the beautiful northern England city of Chester.....it's an old Roman city 2k years old

Yes, I agree Chester is a good place to visit. I was there not too long ago, loved the shops and also had a big tour round the Cathedral and walk round the walls surrounding the city

If you intend spending anytime in the north
during your visit, maybe Leeds might be a
good place to visit.
Its pretty central and has become arguably
the best city outside London for restaurants
and clubs, although much the same could be
said for Manchester.
My advice would be, dont miss the Highlands
of Scotland, not perhaps the best time of the
year right now but worth a visit with Glasgow
on route.
I suppose it depends what your looking for.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy your visit.
