I am seeing more and more mean spirited types on the streets... it has enraged me to the point that I am disgusted with those that watch and passby without doing or saying anything to halt the ridiculing and verbal assaults these unfortunates are being forced to endure.

I had the pleasure today to let loose a barrage of my rapier wit on two such types today.

Imagine a 45 year old fast food cook a 34 year old dishwasher/busboy tearing into a 55 year old stoke victim who is a colege grad and at one time had respect of many.... this unfortunate soul was given a little rabbit and he lost it he came in had a coffee and was very distraught over this, and these half wits preceded to tear into him because of how losing his rabbit affected him..... I went Postal on these dullards. It strange how many use others to justify and glorify their petty pathetic lives.

I'm just curious is anyone else out there are defending the less fortunate?

Good for you applause applause applause

I did something similar not to long ago.

Standing in a long check out line (this was during the Christmas season) the person in front of me was complaining about how slow the cashier was moving & how stupid she is & other assorted derogatory remarks. Well having been a cashier I lit into him like flies on sh*t. & told him what cashiers thought of customers like him.

It's not the cashiers fault if the line is moving slow, it's usually the customer's fault, sometimes the customer changes their mind about buying something or doesn't have enough money & needs to take something out of the purchased items, or the customer is tryiung to pay with a check & doesn't have the proper ID, or any one of a hundred things.

God me and my big mouth are going to get our arse kicked one today. You take today for example bus is late Me and a elderly gentleman are waiting, bus arrives the elderly gentleman is struggling to get on because the bus driver hasn't lower the buses step. The driver then starts to berates the gentleman for being slow. If he did i let rip i had just finished a long 13hr shift and was in no mood for rudeness. I told him he should have more patience and respect and it wasn't the customers fault the bus was late and if he was having problems keeping to times he should take it up with his employers not the customers. I also reported him as i'm fed up with people elderly people as second class citizens. very mad

I applaud all of you!

Not sure if this counts for this thread... but it feels as tho it should to me...

here's the story...

I'm a single mother... trying to make it with no help from my ex-husband... I have plenty of resources to turn to (womens support groups, single mom support groups, the DA's office for child support enforcement, etc.)... My problem is that I know a whole bunch of single fathers... who have their children at home, raising them alone... there are no single father support services.

How can a country that "raves" about equal rights, equal everything, have so few resourses for a minority that is growing larger everyday...?????

I have written all the "proper movers and shakers" and still nothing...

I have tried my best to help the single fathers that I know... do what they have to, need to to survive... I have even gone to court for some of these friends... trying to help them get child support enforcment, restraining orders and the such...

I have helped quite a few of the fathers I know get visitation rights amended (so that they can see the children they don't have custody of... they can see their children)...

I think single fathers, non custodial fathers, and men in general are getting the short end of the deal... because they are expected to be the "stronger sex" they are expected to do it all... with no support... no information... no nothing...

I went a little farther than words one time when I saw a guy slapping a lady around.. not going to go into detail, but let's just say, he was very happy to apologize to her when I was done...

I intervened last year when one wee ned (Glasgow punk) was about to assault a young couple at a bus stop. I ended up in hospital and had to have a head scan! Apparently I have no brain activity anyway, so there was no problem.

The young couple were very thankful, though, for their "knight in shining armour".

Last Saturday I did the same thing - interfered with a young thug (encouraged by his three friends) who was going about his (un)lawful business of picking a fight with a lad who was minding his own business. This time the wee shite just walked off, I'm happy to say. The guy I stopped from getting a beating didn't even look in my direction, let alone thank me. Nice, eh?

Should I bother to intervene the next time?

Wow, I have been dying to tell this story to people who want to listen. soo,
Imagine the scene, you are waiting at a bus stop downtown after work with well over 2 dozen individuals waiting with you. When suddenly out of the corner of your eye you see at least 4 young men jumping on top of one young man and beating him senseless.
I was in shock. I, at this time in my life was rather small and wimpy, but I did not like what I was seeing. then a big black man jumped in and started to throw these guys off. When they attacked him as well thats when I couldn't stop myself. I just jumped in and started throwing these guys behind me and yelling at the kid to run and get help. (note: no one else at the bus stop was helping). He did. then I made the mistake. I threw one of the guys behind me and didn't keep my eyes on him. when I turned around all I saw was a fist. he broke my nose. but he didn't knock me down. HIS MISTAKE, to this day I doubt that he can use his arm properly. I broke it in three places.
Then the fun begins the guy helping me looks at me and tells me to sit down I ask why, he points to the pavement and when I look I see a pool of my blood. I was gushing blood from my nose and didn't even realize it.
the police were so thankful to us they didn't charge us a dime for the hospital bill. They never caught All the punks but, the ones they did suffered.

Yes, I have jumped into the fray to defend an elderly street lady in StLouis and later a cowboy being attacked by a few dumb frat boys at a rodeo in Nacogdoches, Texas. Something about the underdogs being outnumbered, really gets my blood boiling.

Not something I am really proud of, and as I get older, I avoid or at least fight a lot smarter now.

The last time, was, of all places, Reunion Arena in Dallas during a FleetwoodMac concert. Some very drunk redneck was pouring his beer over this kid's head and pushing the young collge age kid in the seat below him into a fight. I knew what was coming, so I handed my wallet, to my first night date, to spring me later.
We were all in the nose bleed seats and the incline was mountain goat paths, so by the time I got over there, the kid was helpless. The large drunk redneck was standing on his tiptoes, knocking the beer cup off the kid's head. I stepped up and slid my foot under his heals, causing him to tumble forward and pulled the kid out of the falling drunk's path. Poor drunk must have thundered down 20 rows into the finally approaching security.

He never knew how he lost his balance, and I got to watch the Christy McVie sing her final solo.

Same thing happened at a Moody Blues Show, with a drunk and a poor concert listener,,,, and all I wanted to do was hear "I'm just a Singer in a Rock N Roll Band". I do not go looking for fights, as I am a lover, but I will not allow drunk fights ruining good concerts. Guess it's good I don;t go to many concerts anymore.

O Boy lady do i need to talk to you.

I need someone with your knowledge to assist my international battle for joint custody and a fair settlement of marital assets. My soon to be ex is simply outspending me with mutiple lawyers and law offices. She hires then fires them when they don't give her the answers she wants. So I sit in the third year of divorce awaiting yet another new judge to be assigned. I am in "divorce hell". And my little boy just wants his daddy.
Do you know anybody who knows international policy with the Cayman Islands?

Sincerely,
TallDarkVidPro
