Please, cut-it-out! This goes for you men too -- if you are doing it. I am a heteralsexual male who would love to meet a heteralsexual female. The problem I am experiencing is this: most of the pictures I view, in the profiles of the heteralsexual women, are "outdated"! You are being dishonest, if you display -- in your profile -- a picture of yourself that is older than one year, and you conviently do not bother to note the date of the picture.
An example: I view the profile(picture)of a woman who is approximately thirtyfive years old (she even claims to be that age), petite and cute. Within three months of viewing her profile, we meet: she is at least ten years older and obiese. If You want honesty in a relationship -- men and women -- please start with your profile. Otherwise, that lie not only could, but more than likely will back-fire on you.
One other thing, it makes more sense to profile a current picture of ones complete image -- head-to-toe, oppose to a glamour or headshot of oneself;that way, there are at least no major surprises, in ones appearence, to the potential partner should a rondevous take place.
