You know, Claire, as a bachelor who hates cooking, I've never achieved much in a gourmet sense, but I have developed what I think is a fairly tasty recipe for sweet bread: a slice of Wonderbread smothered in powdered sugar. Oh Ambrose say it isn't so!!! Quick bachelor recipe if you like "sweet bread" Whisk a couple of eggs with a small bit of cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, dip your bread in it then fry in some butter until golden on both sides, put a pat of butter on it and sprinkle with powdered suger, yes good old french toast!
