You can't be to careful!!!! I just got back from the most horrible dating experience I have ever had!!!

I had a man IM me this morning and amazingly he was from here in Ibiza, we messaged back and forth for about half and hour. I checked out his profile and while not great looking, he was attractive and said some good things on his profile. I was having a really good time with the guy so when he asked me if I would meet him for a Valentines breakfast... I thought "why not?"

I showered and threw on a pair of Jeans and a bright red sweater and left with butterflies in my stomach (my first real meeting from an online connection!) I arrived at the cafe about half an hour later and didn't see him anywhere, so I took a seat and ordered a coffee. I have to admit... I was a bit nervous and kept checking the door wondering when he was going to arrive. There was a group of men standing up at the bar and they kept looking over at me and talking amongst themselves.

I was beginning to get a bit uncomfortable and more and more nervous, when one of the guys broke away from the group and headed in my direction... he pulled out a chair and sat down and said Hi, pretty lady like you shouldn't be sitting here all alone. I told him that I was meeting a friend and that I wasn't interested in any company while I was waiting... he and his friends all started to laugh.

He asked if I were waiting for Denis, I said yes, how did you know that? He replied that he was the Dave part of Denis and at the bar was Ernesto, Ned, Ian and Stephan. I looked around the cafe but there was no one else around, I looked for the waiter but he had disappeared... I didn't know what the hell to do! I knew that if I acted scared, I would have no opportunity to get away from these guys so I smiled at him and said, well aren't I the lucky girl, 5 valentines dates instead of one and why don't the rest of the boys come over to the table?

Well they all came and sat down, and I have to say a rougher bunch I couldn't have hand picked... Inside I was shaking so bad... but on the outside I was trying to smile and flirt a bit to keep them relaxed. I excused myself to go to the lady's room hoping to come across an employee... but there was no one around. I locked myself in the lady's room and started rummaging in my purse for my phone... but it was gone! Somehow one of the men had managed to steal my phone out of my bag!

But all wasn't lost, thank god there was a window in the ladies room... it was a little bit to high to climb out so I used the rubbish bin to stand on and was pushing the window open when I heard one of the men shout through the door, are you coming out or what? I said, yes be right out, just touching up my lipstick and started to climb out the window... I heard the door break open and felt the mans hands grasp my leg and he started pulling my leg...

sorry, but I can't share in the joke. Potential violent attacks on wome are not a laughing matter. Many other things to joke about. Goodness knows there are enough warped actions committed by some men towards women, you don't have to joke about it.

that scared the shit out of me...it really did...especially because i didnt see the last line until i went over the story the second time. :-p

C'mon.....lighten-up!! It was funny!!

You can't blame me... it's a family thing, now you all know why it's ssoooo important that my "partner" have a good sense of humor... this was mild compared to some of the practical jokes that go on!!! Now don't you all be giving it away via email... I expect to get some good laughs from this all day!!!
