took me far too long........ slow learner....

I am going to have to reflect on this for a while, it's kinda got my brain bogged down at the moment...

Well all men are stupid....so what would we know??

I chose 'other' because I don't know!?! I suspect it's because I see someone I may be interested in, who's not interested in me; and others express interest in me and I'm not interested in them. I think it takes a lot of time and effort, which I'm very willing to give, but a lot of people don't seem to have one and not willing to give the other. I'm REALLY open to most....I'm just interested in finding someone I can talk to, laugh with and I want to kiss at the end of the day....SO....my answer is I still don't know!

I do think it's interesting that so many people voted they know what they want and won't settle for less....that's kind of my theory - that so many people are waiting for someone 'better'...and waiting and waiting and waiting...

I'm not, anymore.

Maybe experience has taught them that settling for less doesn't work!

I think I gotta cut back on the cross dressing thing. It can confuse people...

settling for less....vs....being too (maybe unreastically) picky....fine line. I actually saw one profile for a lady that was looking for a man between the ages of 43 and 43...that's pretty specific!

I used to think anyone would do as long as they were agreeable and clean and intelligent in a general way, because relationships were all about making things fit and working at things. Where I ran into trouble with that theory was, that people don't have the same degree of willingnes to put themselves outside their comfort zone, nor, sometimes do they agree with each other on even the basic things, such as liking what the other person looks like. I know that some people believe that there is a perfect person just for them out there, but I look at the statistics....... Not such an idealistic picture there.

I think I am single for much the same reasons most other people are single. We can't find someone with the same basic mindset on what constitutes daily living.
