thats a good point there would most probally still be a british empire if like the roman empire they never started getting greedy ... just wanted to keep on overtaxing people !

To think....Friggin Brits gave up all of America because they couldn't collect enough taxes on tea bags. laugh

the story of britian and america is most probally a very interesting one once you start looking into it indy .....you watch a bet you historians start telling interesting things !

by the way i never notice of black faces in the pictures of that tea party

Interesting observation because I grew up on the stories in the history books in the north. You are right, Gilly. Those books in those days are a little generalized. However, I now live about 30 miles from where the "Decoration of Independence" was initiated and history is a little more colorful. However, they just don't do that much re-enactments of that time period. Here, they re-enact the Civil War!!

If I go east about 90 miles, there is a Palace that was built by the British and I think we are still paying taxes on it!!!
