You sohuld never reveal that stuff in the beginning. If you are asked about it, keep it short and simple. No one likes a person who open the floods gates of past emotional bad experiences.

Good answer, it will look like you are still toting around the baggage, get over it.

I try not to tell my past relationships even aftet I get to know someone well.
this way the new relationship is a clean slate.
Also.. because I have had a couple of gals that were so bad that they used my past as a weapon to try to cause hurt.
Some people will do anything to hurt you when they get angry.

yeah it is definately not worth talking about, I gave it all up atleast the hurt part, I just don't understand how ya dust someone after all those years you cared about and carried her and got carried and then it turns into Chemical warfare... I openly gave what I thought she should get even after her Turfwar tantics and buddie soldiers I still can't figure out how ya just start fighting continueous, I messed her and her soldiers up and Jumped flight to Taipei Tiewan, Kuala lumpur Malaysia and some,

forget the hurt thing yay

Good answer. thumbs up If a man hasn't gotten over a past relationship and has to keep talking about how dirty she did him or how broken up he is/was over it, I'm gonna run as fast as I can in the opposite direction. I assume most men probably feel the same way about women. The exception is the "fixers" and "rescuers" who love getting into relationships with those types. Misery loves company I guess. dunno
Me, I'm happy and want the same in a partner. grin
Fix yourself first, then look for someone else. hug

somewhere along the line men forgot how to be men.....we as men when we hurt don't show it. We still are the stronger sex....No matter what society dictates as the downing of men and the feminizing of men no one can stand a man that cant be a man.....a man should be a man....the definition of man= someone capable of handling his troubles and that of his loved ones...todays man forgot how to be a man......go back to the song by grand funk walk like a man....in it there is aline that says what r u going to do when your old and blue and wont can do...the answer: by that time ill be in my prime and ill strike like a cock till im 99..........todays man, look at yesterdays man for the answer, stand up and be a man....AND BE PROUD TO BE A MAN!!!

I had to look on your profile to see it, the little pic is too dark for some reason.

A man can be a man and still show emotion, it takes strength to do that. No one should dump their hurt on another person and expect them to take it away for them, it just doesn't work that way. But sharing pain with someone close is a good thing, it really does help to get it out. Otherwise you're carrying in around forever, and you can't help but bring it into all your relationships, whether you talk about it or not.

I agree men should be strong, but there's more to being strong than not showing pain.

I wonder about that, I worked Drilling Rig years back in the frozen north, Desert Storm boys were up there and they use to say around here the men are men but so are the women, I honestly have to say there was never an arguement over that topic atleast if ya seen what I seen..

I don't even like women that whine, and especially not men.
