The idea of protection is without a doubt in this day and age of utmost importance I had a whirlwind romance with a gal in Santa Cruz many moons ago and she was very appreciative of my humor and chivalry...(mum taught me well) we hung out for an entire day 4:00am(party ended) to about 11:00 pm the next evening. We went to a hotel to get going about the good things that a hotel can provide for two strangers and she seemed to have this weirdness come over her like she was in shock or something (no I hadn't pulled it out yet) and my concern for her grew and I expressed my feelings that I wasn't willing to put her in an uncomfortable place and that we should probably just hang out and watch a movie......Well she let out a lucky-for-my-gentlemanly-ways whopper of a tale she had found out that she had contracted HIV and was so angry about it......If I hadn't been such a nice guy she would have given it to me because she blamed men for her lack of discretion about protection and guess what folks I didn't have any protection either on me If we had done it My life may have been very different since then.........I felt so bad for her troubles that I just layed there with her and held her all night so she wouldn't feel gross or totally untouchable like she must have been feeling...I look back on that and I know that PROTECTION IS A MUST GOOD PEOPLE.......Don't leave home without it....wine

even after marriage or LTR...I insist on condoms. Had a vascetomy, so pregnancy is not an issue. I don't care if my relationship is exclusive or not....a condom will always be used...PERIOD

I've found abstinence to be 100% effective in preventing STD's as well as pregnancy.
