Suppose the Iraqis establish some resemblance of a democratic government on their own.

We'll still have troups over there for decades. Terrorists will be killing innocents and military.

It won't do any good. It saddens me so much to see soldiers going over there because of the American brainwash and their naivete. Our country isn't safer because of the war. If we continue to invade Iraq, nothing will come of it. Civilians and fighters will continue to get blown up for decades. The U.S.'s role, is, in my mind, not the emperor of the world.

We are so paranoid now, that we think we have to control any country that the media convinces us is a danger to us.

The intelligent thing to do would be to make strategic sortees when necessary, come home, and wait until there's another threat, then do the same. We're arent' going to change the way people have been raised, any more they will us.

The war needs to be ended, and our troups from around the world need to be sent home. We can leave the bases, and when a stretegic hit needs to be made, we can do it.

This war is insane and will have no lasting positive effect. I feel so sorry for our soldiers who think they're accomplishing something, I feel sorry for the families who have lost family, and I feel sorry for the innocents--American, Iraqi, and others-- who have died for nothing.

Sorry but I think the OP is the paranoid one. Sure, war sucks, Bush has handled the thing so badly I can't imagine declaring any kind of "win" with him in charge no matter how you slice it. Always said we should just have bombed them from the air, turned it to dust, and done it again and again any time they acted up AGAIN. No need for so many of our guys to have gotten killed or injured. But I guess you have forgotten, our govt hasn't been listening to us for a very long time now. IF they had been working in our best interest we wouldn't have the issues with illegal immigrants, health care, education...that we have.

Not to worry...our soldiers will be safe from the hatred, poverty, the economy, stock market collaspe, mass murders, senseless killings, no health care, previlent in the U.S. They will be safer in Iraq for the next 8 years.

The military has become our greatest welfare system yet!!

Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.

The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. . . .. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia.

Religiously - no . . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256) (Koran).

Scripturally - no. . . Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no. . .. . Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. .. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. . . . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.

Domestically - no. . . .. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Intellectually - no. . .. . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles, and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. . .. . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. . . . Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation, perhaps we
should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.

They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans.

Thank you. I was never in favor of this war, but I have someone there and he's told me of the good that was accomplished the last 2 times he was there. I have a much different view on things after getting a first hand account instead of listening to the news.

I am sorry but this really paints a picture that ALL Muslims are like this and live there lives in this way. I live in a Muslim country and this generalization is simply not TRUE.

Turn the place to dust? On what grounds? War is directed at governments and armies not the citizen's. I wonder how you would feel if say the Russian's or the Chinese decided to do that to the USA everytime they acted up!

Yes, the moslem believes in Allah. The christian believes in Yahweh, brobably originally a sun god.
No other god is accepted by Allah; no other god is accepted by Yahweh.
The moslem believes in the Quran (or Koran); the christian believes in the bible.
Revelations speaks of nations being destroyed.
Christians believe the Quran to be corrupt.

I don't know whether I'd have the guts to speak out against Isam if I lived in America, for fear that it would endanger me, yet people from the near east have moved here because they would rather live in our country. If people were allowed to move from America to Iraq, I doubt they'd want to.
