You people really need to look into the total experience that Obama has, really and honestly. You cannot run a country on hope, maybe hope for a black president but that is it. A president cannot come up with ideas or (steal) ideas (if you listened to Obama in last nights debate, he did a fine job as a parrot) and expect them to magically happen, you must cross party lines, but since Obama has only been a Senator for a year and a half, he has made a multitude of contacts (NOT!) 8 years of Bush, WTF, who voted for this Moron! At the same time, those same people are voting for Obama, WTF! Each year, the people of this country get stupider and stupider!!!

Hillary is the best choice!!!!

If you are a republican or cannot vote, please do not respond...head banger head banger head banger

rolling on the floor laughing

The fact that she didn't cut and run when things got rough in her marrige says a lot about her ability to see things through in the toughest of circumstances.

You may be right about her seeing things through tough circumstances, but condoning that behavior to me is unacceptable. If you fool around, you're being tossed - that's just the way I feel about marriage. She may have stuck by him through thick and thin, but I wonder if it was because she is tough or because she didn't have the guts to hold her head high and walk away because he was the one who did wrong and it might screw up her chances of getting in the White House herself.

A good debate question!

The entire country would have stood up and applauded her if she had left him, I think it took a lot more guts to stick it out. Because you don't take a negative public action does not mean that you condone the action. I think it took a lot more guts to stay and hold her head up high.

Exactly, she didn't leave him because she's in love with power, not him!

I do not see the connection with hillary's previous marriage problems with Bill and her candidacy for president. That is their personal problem and the media made a big deal out of it as they usually do when something like such happens.
Everyone these types of problems, but they do not neccesarily reflect on Hillary or Bill Clinton's effectiveness as president. Name a man who isn't dumb enough to lie to his wife...
Besides what people think about his personal problems, the nation was in much better shape, the value of the doller was up, gas prices were reasonable, and there was no serious threat to the nation's economy when Bill was president.
I would say that Hillary's election would definately improve on the current circumstances.

Truth be told, though; it looks as if Obama is headed for victory anyway--and he will win if the voters do not leave aside their opinions: "personal favorites" racial issues(he's African American), "change", and consider other aspects of the candidates plans for office. Only then can we deside on the more reasonable candidate.

...and Hillary stood by her husband through the rash response from the public and the white house after word of the "affair" got out; that takes guts. The entire nation would have approved if she had left him, but she didn't--she was smart enough to realize that it would only make things worse and cause more confusion.

I don't see a connection either. Her motivation (power vs love) is ofcourse open to debate but not a biggie to me.

What I have a problem with is the Clintons in general. Way too much personal scandal (not counting Bill's affair(s)). To me this serves as a warning to more potential problems and I feel we would be better off without her leadership. The bottom line is I don't trust her based on my assessment of her/their rather shady past. also don't really care for the dirty politics she plays and I think many others feel the same way which is why I believe she is going to or has already lost this race.

Appl this logic to our political alliances. Do we "toss" them everytime they screw up??? No..we work through our differences with our "partner". While I am sure that she was upset and angry...she stood by her "partner" For those who say she did it for "power" can they prove that???

I think she proved that in the face of adversity, she saw things through....that is what a leader does.

People pat Bush on the back for sticking to his guns, even though he made a lot of mistakes in Iraq!! But condemn Hillary for sticking to her guns!!!

And, no.....I am not a Hillary supporter. Just giving credit where it is due!!

I am really amazed at the so called Christian right who argue about her staying in her marriage. She said for better or worse...remember?? Now you will criticize her for following that through?????? She said till death due us part...and now say it was for political power....give the lady a break, here!!

Obama for President!! We need a change and I think he's got what it takes to lead this country in the right direction. The fact that he's black (half white and half black) should be of no consequence. As for the "ass kissing responsibility", I don't think we'll see that in him.

I also believe that Michelle will make an imposing, attractive, intelligent, amazing first lady. They will both make us proud to be Americans. JMHOapplause
