"Sometimes", one simply needs to know when to turn around and walk away........

Men by nature are hunter, warriors, conquerors. They thrive off the hunt and the kill, but they are not really interested in the clean up.

How do this applies to your situation?

Well you my frient have become like a domestic animal to the hunter. There is no hunt involved and the butcher takes care of the mess. It's a win/lose situation for the hunter, as he has the meat he's looking for but the thrill of the hunt and chase have eluded him. So instead of being happy with a full stomach, they keep searching to fill that void in their soul for the chase/hunt.

My suggestion to you, let him chase you. Let him realize that you are something worth hunting. If he really cares about you, he will come after you! And when he does take your time, make it worth both your time.

Thanks everyone for the input... I've had some time to sleep on it... Decided to just step back and go my own way... not going to give up the friendship, but hot going to hold my breath....

No matter how well you get on with a person, or how well they treat you, if that spark is missing, you can't make yourself fall in love with them. A one sided relationship never works... you're putting yourself in a position to be taken advantage of and I know for myself if a person allows me to take advantage of them, I don't respect them and without respect, there can never be love.

WIsh I had that answer myself. The closest I can come is that the ones we love do not always percieve us the way we want them to. You give until you can't take the rejection any more,I suppose. At that point you have the choice of staying in misery or moving on , carrying the good memories and letting go of te pain. Good luck to you.
