My first job was in a hotel.. part time waitressing and chamber-maiding... I was 13yrs and used to earn £25 ($50) a week.. haha

Cut grass around the water towers for the county when I was 12.Worked 200 miles off shore for oilrig supply when I was 14.Told them I was 19 to get the job.

Wow, that was a long time ago. I was in 8th grade and worked at a grocery store after school and a bicycle shop on the weekends. I don't remember how much those first paychecks were but to me it was a ton of loot! grin

At 14 I was a "carhop" at a drive-in (yes, on rollerskates)..rolling on the floor laughing GOD, I am old....crying

At 15 I was a cook, 18 I had joined the army (and got to "play" in jungles) because I did not like being told what to do. Hence, my saying that I am 2 fries short of a "Happy Meal".. At 22 I owned a hotel (Regan's Olde Heritage Inn, Hebron, Indiana). Then a trucking company. Then life happened...........sigh
