Can You Fall In Love With Someone BEFORE you meet them?

I had to learn the hard way not to belittle friendship. It may not be as great as love to some but I just find the term 'just friends' a misnomer. If I had a nickle for every friendship that I lost because I didn't know the difference between friendship and love I would be a rich man. I have come to respect friendship. Never really have a real friend growing up I value it today when I meet people.

I have had friends to help me by telling me no that is just lust you are feeling or just infatuation. I am glad they told me because I had trouble telling the difference.

I think it is possible and also not because everyone is different. I mean you can agree with someone philosophically and email and get to know them but personally I can't do it now part of this is because i feel that to TRULY know someone, to feel that special chemistry, you have to meet and get to know each other for some time before falling in love.

Yes you can fall in love with someone before you meet them. At least from what i've seen. However there has to be trust, and complete openess for that to happen.

I think you can. It is no secret that all real love starts out as friends first and it is my opinion that communication is the key to all lasting friendships. Words have a powerful way of getting into someones heart.

Well then someone needs to give me lessons. I have met approx. 15 men from the internet. Some as friends and some I thought I couldn't live without.

Only one I was attracted to - the others, well I was almost embarrassed to be seen in public with them. Guess I just don't have the knack for it.
