Still, you're right about this thread it can definately be explored furtherI'm not sure if it is a matter of trying or not trying. As strange as it sounds, it mearly be a matter of each individual taking responsibility for his/her own actions, thoughts, and emotions. If we all take time to look into our own hearts and live with love as our motivation, then maybe that is enough to show others through our example. That message has been taught for centuries by all spiritual leaders, philosophers, and visionaries. I feel that it is important at this time in history to really pay attention to those teachings. Maybe it's not to late for us to change.

Thoughtful !!!!!

"we have been at war with ourselves" -- color , race , creed , religion are but excuses to get as superficial as we possibly can !!

Just like your town is divided over the elections .. its a tendency to be divided over the good so far that goodness itself is quite questionable many a times ..

Our politicians .. think of the good for their country but only till they win or a little beyond ..

Ultimately .. the little realisaton has to churn the soul inside us first ...each one as bama mentions has individual responsibility to try to improvise and not add to the existing mess around ..

I believe you and Bama both have good points. It does start with individual responsibility and on a grass roots or local level. I think there are many who can compromise, improvise and generally stay out of a fray.

I would also agree with you assessment of color, creed, race and religeon being used as excuses. Unfortunately, there are people who truly believe in these things with all their hearts and are willing to fight you, me or anyone else to their deaths in order to preserve their values and their rights to believe as the choose. Those people turning themselves into bombs are doing that because they believe God or Allah wants them to and will reward them. That's a tough thing to compromise on.

It's ironic and very sad that so many people have been killed in the name of religeon.

Hey, on a lighter note, the thread still runs and it's interesting and still thought provoking. That's a wrap for tonight... Time for bed. Take care

laugh

Thankyou.hug

On a serious note , i feel we have a lot of answers right within ... it does take but a little effort to look within and reflect ...

Much remains to be uncovered by us about our own selves .. how we behave , what we do why and how we think .. many of the answers lie right there ...within us ..

Absolutly true.thumbs up It does help to have these discussions. We humans learn very well when we here stories and ideas from others. It is definatly a possibility for the answers to flow right out of peopel if they share their own insights into life. The cool thing is when that happens and you realize that you've just learned something that you didn't previously think that you knew. If that makes sense.

So true !!

Spiritual quests though taken alone always need the asssesment and scrutiny time and again within ourselves ..
Such discussions open us to more possibilties and ideas .. not possible when by ourselves ..
I have learnt so much here.. must admit .. i am learning even now this min.
