I was told a saying once which made alot of sense to me.. that is.. 'the cream always rises to the top'.. over the course of time you learn who your REAL friends are...and in my experience they have been the ones that have been there for me when the chips are down.. and the ones who persist in keeping contact even though we are in different countries..

I am lucky I have some really cool friends.. small handful.. but quality

you dont have to do special stuff
you dont have to make his/her presence felt

with whom .. being you is sufficient !!

In your goodtimes .. you know he/ she is happy even if they dont show it as such ...

but in the sad times when life is on the downside .. that someone is right beside you ..

yeah I agree.. I'm vereee ruthless when it comes to all that tbh.

Someone I has great friends with (I thought).. for the last 12yrs.. she did it too me three times last year..

the first time.. I thought.. Oo okay.. a mistake..

the second time .. I thought.. hmmm.. OUCH!

and the third time I dropped her like a hot potato.

I'm pretty ruthless like that.. from being one of the closest people to me. I just cut her off totally.. (she REALLY hurt me tho).. it hurts me sometimes when I think of it.. what we BOTH don't have any more.. its very sad.

But three strikes and ya OUT!
