i read some of whats posted in forums
and so much of it is so ridiculous,childish
and UNINVITING to new members...
those who post the stuff like "come out and show your face"
*whaaa??* man-what can one say about that?

good grief its a forum all we CAN do is share opinions!
do people act like this in real life?
like if someone doesnt agree w/ them they play victim
or attack them or avoid them?
no wonder so many people are online
theyve run out of people in their neighborhood..?

to name call '***********s'? -any of the names supposed 'groups' are given...?
arent these people in fact trying by that method
to form a group to stand up to the '**********s'? ( 'group')

as in "us, them and the spectators" ? awful mentality
at a dating site...honestly-so many members here, thousands- look at forums, look at our profile and our recent posts on it-to see maybe what we are like... and so many dont join forum
because of this stuff.

its just a backhanded way to portray oneself as
better than 'them' when in fact its pretty much exactly
what youre complaining about.
but its 'different' cuz youre doin it? or youre justified?
maybe cus 'they started it' ? 2 wrongs dont make a right.
and, yeah-its attracting singles in here in droves.

im stating my opinion
sometimes ya know, if we become offended
its a problem w/in our own ego.

personally i try not to let these idiots people/groups
that are strangers
actually offend me

and drives potential members away-

Good Post MF, I agree with everything you said!

The thing that people don't seem to understand is that if you post an opinion in a reasonable manner, most people will respond in the same manner, even if their opinion is different, but when you post a rant stating rumor as fact and your opinion as gospel... people are going to shred you.

The majority of people who participate in the forums are quite well read and intelligent and are going to respond in a negative manner when people post a load of rubbish in an abusive manner.

I've been a free member of this free site for almost two years. I might complain a little if it cost me money. But, since you brought it up....I am just now learning that people go around behind the scenes e-mailing each other, about different people. Sneaky, secret, gossip kind of stuff. Clicking on profiles, reading everything a person writes, searching for who knows what excuse to say, or write who knows what.

I was genuinely surprised. I mean it! When I learned that people actually behave that way, I was in denial. I was like, "No Way! Who would do that? Who has time to do that? Who is really that involved in the electronic lives of virtual strangers?" I still find it sort of unfathomable. I don't even put that much effort, into people that I've actually met or talked to on the phone. Perhaps I'm too carefree. Perhaps I don't take people seriously enough.

I vow to be more involved in everyone's cyber life. Psyche! No I don't.

Then there are those that are so lost in misery,, that if you don't agree with their opinion, they will attempt lies or anything else it takes to destroy the other person.
I will not apologize to someone hell bent on taking me down with them.
Especially when someone tells me basically... Either you give me a public apology or I will take you down!

I love reading everything you write MF. You are always so on target.

The best way to improve things would be if everyone would ignore the idiots ... uh, I mean ... no idiots is the only thing I can come up with.
