Supposedly everyone dreams in black and white and we just fill in the colors later. But all my dreams have had such vivid color that it is hard to imagine it in black and white.

everyone dreams every night, the dreams you remember are the ones that you have before you wake. Or if you are having a really restless sleep you might remember more of your dreams because you are not sleeping that deeply. Maybe you are just sleeping better or more deeply.

Most of the time, men and women both dream in color. The reason a lot of people don't think they dream in color is that when you awaken and are lying there a slumber the first thing that escapes your memory is color. You can remember more or less of the events in the dream, especially if you lie still and gently coax yourself into going back in time in the dream. But color is the first impresssion to leave.

Sometimes I can remember some of the color in my dreams, because I awaken several times a night and have learned to look at my dreams. Onece in a great while I have a "lucid dream," a dream in which I know I'm dreaming. This is a fascinating subject to me.
