Did you know??

MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is one of the leading causes of obesity in America and the medical profession won't diagnose it because of pressure from the food industry. Scientists have proven that MSG is a neurotoxic and that is the very reason the food industry uses it. Because they can add it to a pot of $hit and trick your brain into thinking you actually like it.

Who is it that uses the slogan; "Betcha can't eat just one"? Lay's Potato Chips, wasn't it?

MSG is the reason they are so sure they will win the bet.
Kind of like an aphrodisiac for food, except that is some really ugly side effects.

The food industry has gotten pretty clever about hiding it from people who have eliminated it from their diet too. There are dozens of names they use to conceal it as an ingredient, I'll post them in awhile.

I was pretty surprised when I first discovered what it was and that I had been poisoning myself for years.

Now your wondering how this topic relates to a dating site right?

Well consider: If everybody on this site eliminates MSG from their diet and went through a 3 day cabbage soup detox, I would lay odds the attitudes of the people on here would change dramatically. AND I would bet that every single person who done it would show a loss of weight within 1 week.

Think I'm nuts don't you? Check this out, it might change your mind.

One of the best benefits of the detox is that fat cells in our body store toxins and heavy metals. The only way to eliminate the toxins and heavy metals is to burn the fat cells.
Another benefit of the detox is that it cleans the inside of our body, which then allows it to process nutrients better. By eliminating the MSG from our diet our metabolism will increase and help our body burn fat.

thumbs up

Well said.bowing

I was thinking just an hour ago while on my way to the shops about the ridiculously overwhelming selection of junk foods on offer...an invitation to obesity in my view.

Seriously, if I had my way, I'd ban the lot of it!!!professor

My next door neighbor was put on an all cabage diet, i'm not sure what the health issue was (somthing genetic, his father had the same diet). He did mention that one thing that he had to occasionaly have with the cabbage was iodised salt (iodine is necesary in any diet).

You would probably be quite frietened to eat at all if you knew abought all the other poisons in our food. One i've been hearing a lot more abought is PCV,,, AKA plastic. Everything is wraped or packaged in it and it releses toxins into our food, bottled water and if microwaved then more is released. That new shower curtain smell ,, well its toxic. That new car smell is also rather poisoness, its a out gassing of chemicals from the adhesives (can cause nerve damage and cancer,,, probably not mentioned in the owners maunal)

(P.S. Susan Powders has some intersting insite in the insanity of the food companys, in her book 'Stop the insanity')

You were not asking me but i'll put 2cent in. Look for foods that say organic and/or whole grain. there is a law that requires a certain amount of honesty in their actions if they use those words. A lot of companys will imply but not say. If it takes a long time to read or pronounce the ingredients then it contains things that won't kill you immediately but you would be better off without.

The FDA was designed to protect the people but will approve a can of mushrooms as long as it has fewer than fourteen maggots in it.

Chinese food made for tourists from take aways is absolutely full of msg, its in all the colourings.

Quality chinese food is completely different as i have been shown by a very good friend of mine.Green beans in a sauce thats like black bean with spikey pork or beef is absolutely to die for.

That on sticky white boiled white rice is lovely, highly recommended.

People in my contry use mSG to poison dogs ( no Animal Rights in my country). Once the dog eats the food mixed with lots of MSG, it starts to get weak and soon you will see your dog dead on the floor with saliva bubling out from its mouth. Its target is the brain. So, if dogs died because it is feed with MSG but in great amount.... so would human.

Pretty lady,
Please give Chantix, the new stop smoking drug a try. It worked for me a year ago. It is showing remarkable results nationwide.

Sadie :)
