Jeff Healey died last night of cancer in Toronto, at age 41, after a lifelong battle with a rare form of cancer that had robbed him of his sight as a child.

Healey sold more than a million copies of his Grammy-nominated 1988 debut album "See the Light," which was released after his cameo appearance in the Hollywood movie "Road House" with Patrick Swayze.

Over the course of his career, the musical prodigy earned numerous Juno and Grammy nominations.

One of the greatest guitarists ever.
