Just of the phone to my Sis there she was telling me about a friend of hers.. such a bitter sweet love story.. she was asking me to say a prayer for him.. apparently he was married to this girl for 20 years and since she died 10 years ago (Cancer) he cannot listen to music because it was something they used to be passionate about together.. awwww.. imagine loving someone that much.. lucky guy really when u think about it.. tho sad that he can't move on...

Has anyone ever experienced love THAT intense.. I think VERY few of us will love somebody to the degree that we can barely contemplate life without them...

Anyone ever experience anything close to that??

No...BUT I hope to someday...I suppose he just can't imagine loving anyone else as much as he loved her and that is something rare indeed in this life of divorce and disposable marriages!!!!!!!!

i've experienced intensely passionate 'love' ... after a while it 'ends' as mysteriously as it started and the illusion wears thins but while it lasts it is pretty spectacular...i hope to find the ever lasting kind one of these days...

I honestly think that very few of us will ever experience anything like the level of love that he shared... god its kinda depressing...

I've experienced pretty intense love and this person will have a place in my heart forever.. but I was able to get over him and move on at the end of the day...

As sad as it seems.. it is pretty amazing and fortunate to be able to experience something like that... apparently they were best friends and childhood sweethearts who were inseperable when she were alive...

I would like to experience something like that.. but I just think it is sooo rare that it will be a blessing rather than an expectation..

I've experienced that too but thought it was "intensely passionate "LUST"........
