John McCain formally won the Republican nomination the other night. So what did he do the next day? He didn't meet with voters, didn't take a break, didn't even attack the Democratic candidates -- he headed to the White House to stand with George W. Bush.

There's no question that George Bush knows that John McCain will pick up where he leaves off. Make no mistake, McCain is the closest Bush will have to a third term, and the White House will do anything to get him elected.

In fact, they're so similar, John McCain had little to say -- George Bush did most of the talking for both of them.

He even suggested that McCain doesn't represent change, saying that it's something candidates have to run on because it's what the American people want to hear. Once again, McCain and Bush are both telling the American people what they want to hear, rather than the truth.

It's frightening how much George Bush likes John McCain, and it should tell you all you need to know.

All that is needed to come full circle is for McCain to pick George Bush as his VP running mate. Wouldn't that be sweet for the Democrats?

Interesting thought that he would pick GW as a running mate. But suspect that is not going to happen. Take a look at my post on the
Cabinet and VP that he could place together. Not a bad group, he can assemble.

No one yet is placing any possible Demo cabinet (for Hillary or Obama)up for us to compare it too. Such a comparison would be nice to see.

GW is going to do what all Presidents do when they pass they torch.
He is going fund raise and speak for the person he supports. Bill Clinton is doing it, yes? Doesn't GW have the same rights here?

What truth would you like to have the present Administration come to the American people with? A truth that Hillary or Obama will not spin for political gain. Obama sure spun McCain's 100 year comment on our presence in Iraq. Hillary has done backflips on her original support of the war and attacked the effects of the Iraq surge every time she can.

People get quiet on the truth, when they see their words spun out context and political gain is occurring from them. Both sides do it. Right now, it is Democractic feeding on Democratic. If we look at the left wing blog sites. Maybe they are getting a bad taste in the feeding and feel a need to refocus on a President in his last few days of office? How very Presidential that is. (opps I spun).:-)

Personally, I think that has hurt the process to have 'honesty' in most major policial campaigns of today. But this all really began when both parties got into negative campaigning. Now we can see the results of that.

It is the old story here, you pay for what you get. Americans let negative campaigning into the political dialogue of the country, when they snickered about some negative words on a politician. Seeing that negative remarks made a impact with voters, political managers began to employee it as a tactic. Now none can tell the 'truth' because they know that it will be spun negatively. This has hurt an honest dialogue in our country on many important issues and events of the times.jmo

And all that's needed on online dating sites like this one is for operatives with an agenda to ruin people's good discussions by airing political gripes, but that's typical of your ilk.

This come out in 1970, it's the same old story.....

"Ball Of Confusion"

1, 2... 1, 2, 3, 4, Ow!
Eddie: People moving out, people moving in. Why, because of the color of their skin.
Run, run, run but you sure can't hide. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
Vote for me and I'll set you free. Rap on, brother, rap on.
Dennis: Well, the only person talking about love thy brother is the...(preacher.)
And it seems nobody's interested in learning but the...(teacher.)
Segregation, determination, demonstration, integration, Aggravation, humiliation, obligation to our nation.
Ball of confusion. Oh yeah, that's what the world is today. Woo, hey, hey.
Paul:
The sale of pills are at an all time high.
Young folks walking round with their heads in the sky.
The cities ablaze in the summer time.
And oh, the beat goes on.
Dennis:
Evolution, revolution, gun control, sound of soul.
Shooting rockets to the moon, kids growing up too soon.
Politicians say more taxes will solve everything.
Melvin:
And the band played on.
So, round and around and around we go.
Where the world's headed, nobody knows.
[Instrumental]
Oh, great GoogaMooga, can't you hear me talking to you.
Just a ball of confusion.
Oh yeah, that's what the world is today.
Woo, hey, hey.
Eddie:
Fear in the air, tension everywhere.
Unemployment rising fast, the Beatles new record's a gas.
Dennis:
And the only safe place to live is on an Indian reservation.
Melvin:
And the band played on.
Eve of destruction, tax deduction, city inspectors, bill collectors,
Mod clothes in demand, population out of hand, suicide, too many bills,
Hippies moving to the hills. People all over the world are shouting, 'End the war.'
Melvin:
And the band played on.
[Instrumental]
Great GoogaMooga, can't you hear me talking to you.
Sayin'... ball of confusion.
That's what the world is today, hey, hey.
Let me hear ya, let me hear ya, let me hear ya.
Sayin'... ball of confusion.
That's what the world is today, hey, hey.
Let me hear ya, let me hear ya, let me hear ya, let me hear ya, let me hear ya.
Sayin'... ball of confusion.

LOL! Hey, as ludicrous as it may sound, there are no laws to prevent this scenario from unfolding. People are seriously betting money on this very scenario for about 2 month now....creepy, but it's what people realy seem to want; more war and economic ruin...
One toy firm from either China or Macao are marketing a whole new version of G.I. Joe; now it is G.I.Woe: the original out-of-action figure. He comes with bed, amputated limb but to artificial leg replacement. A sign for his room denoting the Walter Reed Hospital, with little 'action roaches' and 'battle rats' for the floor and a bedpan rated as 'extreme'...Box has warning that contents may cause reactions of extreme disgust at the lack of care for the vets...another 'sign of the times'....
