Only when I am joking with others can I be myself.

I get nervous alot of times about posting certain things. Their is so many on here they will attack if you say the wrong thing and I have no control over that whereas in real life I can say what I want and I have some control. That is not many out there in the real world that will attack me like they do on here. So I feel like I can't be myself when it comes to posting certain things. I'm scared I will offend someone and not mean to or I might not say the right thing.

I admire your honesty however i do have to disagree on one part.. that is the not having control.. in actuality you do.. even if what your opinon is may offend others if they dont like it thats something they have to deal with.. just like if someone was to say something to offend me the best thing to do honestly is brush it off ur shoulder... How much can a computer screen do... Just live and let live when in real life u have to face these people face to face and its not as easy to let it be brushed off ur shoulder because they are in your daily life but otherwise thank you for ur opinion and honesty much appreciated

cheers handshake

Way less for me. I am much more reserved here than in my real life. This is just wrong. Ug. Seems my life is upside down, backward, ...

I am me whether I'm online or off, I can't be anyone else but me. If I were to try to be anyone but me, I'd be fooling myself and other people.

Besides I like me grin

I am the same here as in real life....perhaps a little more skittish here as I am quite a serious person really. I like the opportunity to relax and play with ideas and chat to all kinds of people on different levels.

It is good to have a virtual me....but it is very like the real me.

Good thread

I am much like i am here in RL.

But goes without saying , its quite natural to not be exactly the same. Simply cos in RL there is so much about a person thats visibly there to assess ... personality , charm , how they talk and carry themselves , how they react etc.

The same words which we write on here get effectively expressed with the use of emoticons but would have more meaning when the rest of the body language and expressions are also seen.

Apart from these subtelities , I am much the same both ways.

Same me as real life.I like to use the word real.If I'm in a place I can get crazy in r/l I do like I may in a thread.IfI'm in a place where I should be serious in my dealings with people,Itry to be,as I do on a serious thread. So if I laugh at your joke here.I would in r/l.If I hug you here,Iwould in r/l and if I don't like what you say, here I usually just move on,but in r/l,there we'd be so I would say what I feel.

Only difference is I don't talk as bad as I spell!

I don't believe in pretending to be someone you are not.If you are to like me shouldn't you see myself instead of someone I want to be.I guess real says it all for me.And its what I look for in others I meet.wink
