Do you consider yourself a good cook? If so what makes a good/excellent cook?

love to cook but usually nothing fancy. I make a dynamite chicken fricassee. And good curries.

My other best friend is my gas grill. Between that and the microwave, I can have a steak and baked potato in about 10 minutes.

I've never made a curry; I'm a huge fan of soup.

I am make a great roast pork with rice and peas and home made gravy and then for desert and strawberry up side down cake

I'm a man. I can cook. The end result is edible. That makes me a good cook. And I do some really mean Pop Tarts.

Oo tell you what I do do tho..

When I have a whole salmon.. I stuff it with herbs and wotnot.

wrap it reeeeeeeally tightly in tin foil.. and put it in the DISHWASHER haha

(no detergent.. and nothing else in the btw)..

run it on a 60 wash..

Et voila! perfectly cooked whole salmon.


I cooked one like that for my friends wedding once.. it was huuuuge (the salmon.. not the wedding haha)..

She came over the night before and said.. 'ermm.. but wheres the Salmon?

I said.. 'ermm.. its cooking in the dishwasher'..

and she was like --- > 'OMG! my very expensive.. huuuge salmon!'
