What do you think of the pictures of Spitzer announcing his resignation with his wife Silda standing beside him?

Princess!!! Love the pic!!

High - Aiken!! I moved to TN 3 years ago from Greenville.

I think if she wants to forgive him, it's between them, but these wives that stick around for the photo ops and then leave them, are doing it for the wrong reasons.

I don't really understand why women do that...
By this, I mean that you would certainly think that she is hurting and angry and feeling so many emotions right now. Why would she step in front of all those cameras now? People would definitely understand if she chose NOT to "stand by her man" at this time. But high profile wives seem to always get out there and be brave little soldiers, bucking up, staying strong, yada, yada, yada.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I would not be a strong, supportive, brave wife. I would be alone somewhere, crying for awhile, then punching a pillow or something, then interviewing lawyers, then crying some more, etc.
He chose to step out on his own time and time again; he could stand on that dais alone, too, as far as I would be concerned.

I feel really sorry for her, that she has to stand there, You know she is being ripped apart by everyone that she looks at. she must just want to go to a corner and hide for awhile tell she can think for herself what she wants to do, not what they are telling her to do.crying crying crying crying

Did Spitzer actually bust the Wall Strret crowd.. Look at http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/may2006/pi20060523_284791.htm and see if there was any justice with Robert Nardelli...
