....Well, no one denies your right to share your opinion and he did not put muslims above christians, he just interests how a Christian man or woman dares to have sex before marriage, as he mentioned it was sin in all religions. But what about more "democratic" muslim countries, for example Uzbekistan, the place where I live, about 80% of population in Uzbekistan are muslims, of course we follow rules of Islam, but at the same time we have family institutions and movements for the rights of women and projects on gender issues.
Usually, we don't have sexual relationship with our future family partners, but everything is changing here and in some way to worse, as many people have conservative view on how a family must be.

Muslims are superior to non muslims!! How silly of me to not see that. When I see women covered from head to foot with just a section to see out of...I am foolish to think that muslims are equal to the sexes and treat women fairly!! I apologise to the world community for failing to see that women should be treated with less dignity than men!!

I think it has to do with several factors which are part of western culture and fiber, but it's mostly the media, the level of personal freedom, for some the lack of faith in God. I am not sure to what extent peer and cultural pressure in your world keeps people in line as opposed to trully being faithful. It is definitely an interesting topic. There are other sins as well which are of a more grave nature happening in your neck of the woods... and I won't ask because I know there's no answer.

I think a big difference here is that men have to earn the respect - it is not a given right - and one of the best ways men can achieve this is to respect the rights of women and to trust them instead of imposing restrictions.

Seems to me that a middle way needs to be found, rather than a world of extremist behaviours we could all do with respecting each other a whole lot more.

I dont believe you've hurt anyone's feelings, so no need to apologize. People just have many opinions and express them freely, try and not take offense to what is being said.

In regards to your questions...I was raised as a Christian and yes, was always taught that sex prior to marriage is a sin. As I am a practicing christian and do know what is right and wrong, I still make mistakes with sex and with many other things. I think with some people their religious beliefs are not as strong and they are not as dedicated as they once were. Self-pleasure and success has clouded how people think at times...JMO

Maybe my perception is all wrong.. Maybe none of the women on here are abusive, maybe they are allowed feelings, but men are not..

Crap, now I have to make another appointment with my therapist. I get so confused. Being old and senile and knowing so much less than so many women is a hard way to live..
