One to many bad relationships.... I feel so much stronger on my own especially with my girls.... haven't meet the right one yet either... someone to love me for my independance and appreciate the fact that I'm my own woman

I lost my wife to cancer in 93, and have been single ever since, also my work requires me to be in hostile zones, and my hobbies require someone without young children, tho there are a great many wonderfull women outthere with kids.
So maybe I am afraid my job will get me killed, or my hobbies could not be enjoyed by women with young children, I really dont want to leave anyone behind because of work nor do I want to miss the opp. of a lifetime because kids can't SCUBA, or maybe to old to change!
Any advice ????????

for a two week dive trip, or a month in Australia, perhaps a kind reletive, or an Au Pair with a nanny Cam.( hard wired so we could wath all things.)

lol...most of the resorts offer baby-sitting...and yeah...bring one with you. my sister went on an extended trip with a family...they paid her travel and food...and she watched their two kids. perfect...all the way around.

Sound great, mabye I have been stodgy at this. Can you promise they wont get sick, or cry all night? If so I am the man!
OK so I need to find the ONE with careing family, money, attractive, maybe with really sick, really rich, ailing reletives, I will do the will.

Well I read this thread thru and thru and everyone either clowns with their answers or blames their ex partners, so I will be the first to come out and say......I F&^$%OD UP!!

I am still single because I have NOT given up on what I truly dream of and desire out of love and life. Or is it life and love? Somehow the two seem to fit together for me in my mind and heart. Yes I tried and yes it didn't work out thus far, but not because I didn't try, not because I failed, not because I don't believe...but because I do. I won't settle for less than that dream, even after the 2300+ mile drive. If I have to drive to or bump into 20 people before I feel that WOW then I will do just that. What I have to share with the right person and what that right person would have to share with me is worth it. As the saying goes...priceless.
