Vintagerock, as you were told, your primary photo on the site must be of YOU and must show YOUR face clearly. Photos are an option here, NOT a requirement. If you wish to have photos with your profile, you need to upload and maintain a primary photo that shows YOU clearly.
Members want to see who they are communicating with. They don't want to write to a picture of an animal, or cartoon, or a super close-up of someone's eye. Requiring a real photo creates accountability and adds a more 'real' feeling to the forums and site pages than looking at pages full of avatars, artwork, animals, celebrities, etc.
Also.. forums rules state that you may not post copies of emails in the forum.
and, of course, using this forum as an attention-getting platform to bash the site that provides it free of charge to you, is not a good idea either.
Site rules do not depend on their popularity. You agreed to abide by them when you clicked the button to join.
