How many out there have teenagers ??? And how many of you felt like throttling them cause they tend to drive you nuts sometimes ???

I have a 15 yr old daughter that thinks she's 18 , and decided that since she's become one that she shouldn't have to do any more chores and have a curfew , and then wants to constantly spend the night away so she can have FUN with her friends . It's too bad that we can't take their voice boxes out sometimes lol .

I don't know if this qualifies, but I drive them everyday to school. Some of them are fascinating and others of them I am just not sure. Thing about it is I can have them for a time, and then they either go to school or home to their parents. But, while they are around me, they know to follow the rules, although at times they want to make up their own and test the limits on what they can get away with.

You sound like a nice person that enjoys your job. That allways makes human interaction easier. Yes they will test you and if you fail you probabily have more power to resolve the strugle than their parents. You take them to and from school. I would guess that means school bus driver?, if so than you can eject them from riding your bus. If you just car pool them , then it is still your car and they can find their own way to and from and eat cake.

I have 14 yr old daughter who thinks she 18 and 12 yr old son who thinks he is 16. I love them and wouldn't change them for the world. My daughters 14th b-day present to herself was to get her tongue pierced while I took her brother to a movie.rolling eyes

I have a 16-yr old who definitely thinks he is grown now that he passed his GED (with near a perfect score, I might add - I'm so proud!). Aren't they loads of fun! rolling eyes I love him to death, though, and would not change one thing about him teddy bear
