Absolutely I made the right decision.. I Love my job... really!

it pays well here tho than to be a lawyer... for economic reasons but I kinda learn to love my job.

Im stuck in a rut ..i might be getting made redundant next year..i would like to move away and start again...things can only get better.R.

Law has always been my thing....I just never really knew what part of it I wanted to work in...I tried hands on for a bit as a Corrections Officer...that wasn't my thing and didn't want to spend years in law school after I had my kids so...I am a paralegal now and that seems to be te perfect fit!!!!!! Although I have some different things still I would like to do and one of them is working with vicitms of crime!!!!

I'm getting permanetly laid off March 31st. My plan is to move to Michigan and start over.
My niche is alheimers, I enjoy problem solving. Nothing better than trying to find a solution for some one who comes up to you in the middle of the night and needs to get to the train station, right now!
I think the trains stopped running in the 20's or 30's.

9 AM, I was told.
Well, it's only 3 am you got plenty of time,sit down and have a cup of coffee with me.
problem solved.
That is what I enjoy doing, so yes it is the right decision,for me.

Basically because i care and about people especially the under dog. Mostly i am glad i am in my profession however some times i do wonder what the hell am i doing this for so little pay

I have been an rcna for 18 years,started working with alheimers people since the unit opened in 98.
I have been in contact with a gal who runs a assisted living alheimers unit for about a year now. She said to let her know when I was living in Michigan.
Why?

I am a mental health support worker. I support people with personality disorders and Schizophrenia in the community
