A skunk got under my house and sprayed last Friday morning! My whole house smells like freakin skunk! Does anyone know it there is anything that can help with getting rid of the odor! I have tried candles, lysol, other room sprays and deoderizors, and I have took off some of the under pinning to my house to try to air it out! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Air the room, try those vent covers that go over the vent that are scented. My dogs get skunked once in awhile, Just keep open windows and doors as much as possible. Just a waiting game for the odour to disappear.

heres some info.
http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/odor-removal/how-to-get-rid-of-skunk-smell/

but Rose is right for the most part.
the smell won't last long. about a week.
If you have heat with blower vents..use bread ties and attach fabric softner sheets to each vent..

Don't think I would go that far.. The shunk wasnt inside the house.. on the carpet, unless your housepets had it on them and brought it in.

And large amounts of vinegar can make it harder to breath than the shunk smell.

I am boiling 1/2 gallon of water with 2 cups of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. It says to boil it til its all gone. I have been boiling it for about 20 mins and it already smells somewhat better. I also used arm and hammer pet fresh odor eliminator carpet and room. seems to make it smell a lil better.. well hell... i've smelled it for so long now.. not sure if it is actually better or i'm just getting use to it again!
