...however, he was arrested for pedophilia, so I never read him again.

Where the Wild Things Are was written by Maurice Sendak. What a great work!

Shel, unfortunately, got involved in writing poems for Playboy and Penthouse, and a year later was arrested for pedophilia.

But his books, especially "The Giving Tree" remain the cornerstones of the foundations for moral thought.

Please send me a link for this info, I cant find anything about him being arrested... I found articles of him working for H. H. in the 50s, but nothing about him being arrested for anything....
