thumbs up Good girl.

Now, can someone explain what knowing a person encompasses?

Length, detail etc.?

I don't think it's possible to judge a person before you know them. There has to be some sort of interaction between people, even if for a minute, to get to know a person and categorise or understand them.
That, or looking at a person's face and judging them right away. Who does that anyway?

dunno laugh

Yes I do, I shouldn't I know but 99% of the time I'm right.
FACT !!

When I've gone against my gut instinct it's always been a problem for me so I will continue to judge and trust my initial feeling about somebody.

Foes are people who use you, insult you, say they want nothing but the worst for you, sleep with your boyfriend or try to bring you down.

You are lucky you love everyone, i don't and it works just fine for me. Doesn't really affect the ecosystem.

thumbs up

Well you have situations.. for example.. someone who lives in your town.. not to far from you (I'm making this up btw lol)..

and say... everyone talks about them.. everyone gossips about them.. They say shocking nasty things about that.. maybe they only heard a little themselves and made the rest up.. added a bit.. and passed it on.

Would you (whoever you are).. judge them for that? By what other people had told you..

Or would you hold fire until you knew more about them personally?

I'd wait. ::shrugs ::

I don't think I judge anyone here.. I try not too.. I can only go by what I see written.. and half the time. we don't even know if THAT'S real do we.. hahaha

I do that sometimes. Most of the time we have a gut feeling about someone before it goes deep into a relationship, maybe about the way they approach or talk to you or even the way they act around other women.

It's not a bad thing to follow one's instincts. thumbs up

I know what you're saying, i'd probably wait too.

Sometimes, it's easier to stay on the fence in such situations, till it actually has a direct effect on you.
I've had situations where my twin has had totally opposite thoughts about someone or a situation, and i don't necessarily base my judgement on what she thinks.

I chose my thoughts and don't go with the crowd.

I wasn't referring just to people you may get lovey dovey with.

Think about situations for example when one has to interview people for a job. You have to go with your gut instinct at the end of the day and hope you are right.

I thought i might mention, that i got the idea of your post not necessarily being about a lovey dovey relationship scenario, but opted not to. I understood your comment was general, Jan. Thanks for clarifying though.

Nice post. thumbs up laugh
