I know what you mean, some hookups are disappointing.

I agreed to meet a guy about an hour and a half away and sat there for hours as he didn't show up. That pissed me off. Talk about wasting my time. I mean if you change your mind, fine, just email and let me know, you know?

I have written to eleven men on this site and not one has written back to me. While I don't think I'm dropdead gorgeous, I do know that I'm attractive, well-groomed, classy and a lot of fun to be with. And yet nobody replies to anything I've sent. I don't know what these guys are looking for!

Bad luck with guys, or you really really pick the
wrong ones, I guess. I would have written back to
you, certainly. I am too distant, and I think you
have missed the window, but I would still write back
to you, as I always write back to people. You need
to pick a better class of guy. How you do that, I don't
know. You actually fit the profile for me, now that
I think of it, non-smoker, highly educated, yeah, of interest, certainly, though too distant, and I now have
another interest. But I am sure there must by guys
closer to you who would write back. Keep trying, and
good luck.

Funny forums I would say. I have not only sent flowers, but also written to some who seem to have a lot to say in these forums and even this thread, but could not acknowledge my existence by way of sorry as DPW puts it....

this is my first time to reply to a post.......but i have to say something....maybe that will help alot of people.......I do not reply to most men without photos ......the main reasons are.....they must be ugly or lazy or introverted to a point that would make us not compatible .....the exception might be that they are shy or lack confidence.......if they lack too much confidence they are not right for me .....nor if they are too shy......you cant change ugly.....but that is in the eye of the beholder so it is subjective.....so give us women a chance to decide for ourselves if our pictures are posted then why cant you post... it is only fair ......it is like wasting someone elses time......also the man might have something to hide.......I think it is safe to say that most women are looking for some one to share life with ...forgive me if I am wrong and please do tell me if I am wrong....I would sure be interested in knowing that...........the excuse that they dont have a way to upload a photo is easily solved Wal Mart sells web cams cheap and they are good and easy to install......check it out....people......peace to all

personally I respond to almost every email I get, on the other hand, I think its rude for someone to email me askin to meet or something like that when they know by reading my profile (and its detailed) that they aren't what I'm looking for. I love to hear from everyone but if your not what i'm looking for, just be friends. And DO NOT continue to push me for something once I've said no.

I thought this was a good thread , with many good comments.

Good reading for the new people on here. And for some that don't return mail and flowers.

*hint, hint*

I have to say...the only time I don't respond to a flower/email is if the person comes off as disrespectful, or i've tried telling them i'm not interested and they dont get the picture.....

BUT....I have sent out plenty of emails/flowers that haven't been responded to by guys as well...and these are guys that are complaining the same as the girls are complaining..and if ne one is going to just ignore u u don't want to get to know them ne ways

IF PEOPLE AREN'T WILLING TO RESPOND TO MESSAGES THEY RECEIVE, WHY DO THEY JOIN IN THE FIRST PLACE? SURELY A LITTLE BIT OF COMMON COURTESY (THANKS BUT NO THANKS)ISN'T MUCH TO ASK FOR?

These things are no different than real life, and they arn't shortcuts, they actually allow for more insight into first impressions, wheareas random personal encounters make bigger and faster impacts, because....well, it's personal.
With body language, presence and the whole nine to overcome rational thought more. But to me, dating sites are kinda like going shopping at walmart...they just don't allow for that realworld magic.

So if a girl your interested in, doesn't act interested in her replies back, well...... it means she ain't interested in the same way you are. Duh!!

And heres your sign. Lol

if a woman isnt interested she dosent have to reply, women have the right to make up their own mind as to who they want to talk to,some guys that are on these dating sites are complete control freaks!wake up and leave the girls alone
