Sometimes you can get this feeling or vibe from it.Also at times a picture does say a thousand words.

I didnt say you can " judge" by the eyes. You cant judge by piture or posts on CS.

If you are aware of the usage of face reading as such , a picture can give maybe give a subtle hint thats all . And i do think ones eyes can say a lot which can give an idea but you cannot judge.

like riya said you cant 'judge' by the eyes but someone's eyes will tell a lot, gateway to the heart (though thats hard to see in pics)

i'll go with riya on this one too hug

Photographs inform an important part of our initial impressions of people on singles lists. If you find the person's photos off-putting, it's unlikely that you'll be inclined to approach them or indulge in conversation with them. It is correct that a picture is worth a thousand words - though I would've guessed a rather higher number than that - as it conveys substantive information about the individual. Of course that information can be added to or amended considerably by talking to someone or observing their behavior in the forums.

I dunno.. some people just aren't very photogenic.. say e.g. my sister, she is very pretty, a really cool chick and a bundle of fun... men are like magnets to her... but she never takes a good photo confused.. (p.s.. shhhh don't tell her I said that laugh)

I dont think a photo can tell whether a person is nice or not

It just shows the outside package.

I feel you have to talk and get to know someone before you can see what type of person they are....jmho.......

I wasn't speaking so much of being attractive or unattractive in a photo, but rather of the psychological impression one makes - the subconscious statements, so to speak - that can be found in a photo. For example, if you're glaring out from the shadows or holding yourself in a defensive posture as opposed to smiling in a sunlit setting (to offer a simplistic example).

I do think a picture gives some insight...if they take a funny pic, they have a good sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously. If they take a picture where they are kissing their biceps for instance, I think that shows a bit of a conceited nature...Sorry if I offended anyone...

I see what u mean.... some people don't do themselves justice in their photos by looking quite miserable... others hide their eyes alot.. which makes me a lil suspicious..

cheers

hug
