Not my place, but she had a point about his profile.

Seems he was playing both sides.

No, I'm sure he was genuine about his intentions..

but she had a valid point about him changing his profile before she finally said it was over.

gossip is ugly
thats why its generally done in private

these 2 members being discussed have been at CS a long time
have been seriously involved w/ each other for a long time
and have visited and spent some real time together
as in weeks at a time-many weeks

i think the choices they make to conduct whatever part of it
on forum is their business and choice
but it sure is discouraging to see someone who has never
come to know them disparage them or voice any opinion at all.

its not like this is 2 people chatted for 3 wks and moved in or declared undying love.
they have put in the time and im sure there is pain at this point
ive no idea what is going on with them at the moment
but i dont think anyone has a right to an opinion in public

we get what we give into the world-i would find this hurtful
and i know people say 'well dont post it if you dont want any response'-but arent we mature enuf to choose rather
than just tap the keyboard in response to posts?

compassion might be the order of the day rather than opinion?
or maybe just silence?

these are genuinely nice people w/ a genuine consummated relationship, and it deserves the amount of respect any of us might hope for.

Ah fair maiden of the west, I honestly wish I was in AZ right now. in MN we are getting 10 inches of snow as I speak. how do I keep my feet warm with you so far and so many men battling for the same pot of gold. Oh well, a Gentleman may be a hard thing to find but, a hard gentleman.......Thats another story........or so I've heard.

As far as I know there are no battling men nor any pots of gold. I miss the snow but not the cold. MN is beautiful when it snows especially when it's been untouched and new. The weather is warm and sunny here and it's time to start breaking out the swim wear. Care to join me by the pool?

Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, as is anyone else when two people decide to air their dirty laundry in public.

That's what the email is here for. professor

youve become-oooh

whatever

seems ugliness is the new friendliness around here

when you have a relationship like that maybe you can decide
your choice would be different and it didnt hurt you a bit
to be talked about

there is a huge difference in talking to each other 'in public'
and that giving some license for others to talk about you.

i mean there are lots of things we CAN do
but we choose not to do them.

this is the stuff people watch when assessing potential mates
in a forum setting. some may be judging them and some may be judging you or i.

do i want someone who likes that im unkind?

thats scary.

seeing peoples strength in rationalizing being yukky
is xlnt info for me personally.

rock on-youre always right-and it appears to be workin for ya
ill just slink ff w/ my completely invaluable opinions now

rolling on the floor laughing

uhYeah
