Not a real huge fan of Sci-Fi, but if I had to pick one of the above, it would be The Twilight Zone...

One of the greatest SF movies of all time must be "The Thing" with James Arness. A friend once observed that what he especially liked about the movie was how the dialogue was delivered with the actors often talking at the same time and interupting each other just like in real life. It wasn't your typical hollywood pattern of 1 person talks and then the next person and the next with no banter in between, totally bogus. People just don't talk like that in real life. That movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Another great SF classic and probably my all time favorite, was "Them" oddly enough also with Jim Arness. This movie also was very inteligently made with a lot of science fact blended into the script. The only part of the movie which was kind of a joke were the ants themselves. The special effect dept really dropped the ball on that aspect. The British actor Edmond Gwenn (Santa Claus in the orig "Miracle on 34th st") was simply superb!
