UK = good beer, shite cuisine.

I found that the english are shocked when you speak to them?

And didn't like the train, standing for over an hour when men
sat there, and didn't offer their seat. Of course occassionaly the men would look up at you, and then go straight back to reading the #@###
paper. Guess I am old fashioned.

I loved the train. Far more economical travel, unlike our NA attitudes where everyone takes their car.....speaking greenly of course.

Plus, they serve beer on the train in the UK.

The last time I came back from the UK, I landed in Toronto. I asked the taxi to then take me to the train station, being used to of course, catching a train at every hour between cities. It was a Friday night and I was told the next train wasn't leaving until Monday morning.......
