Didn't this sport get banned, or eventually people just don't bother anymore?

I certainly wouldnt go to watch a bull fight.
If other people want to, thats up to them
and their conscience.
Personally i cant bear to see an animal in
distress, nor can i understand anyone
deriving pleasure from such a spectical

all I want do is advise how cruel it is, of course people can support it, I wouldnt think any worse of them. I just want the people who might go to see it to know how much the poor animal suffers and that if you go to see it you are therefore giving it support. I admit 2 watching it once on TV out of intrest when i first went to spain, I thought it was one man one bull. Anyway the "recortes" are better the bull doesnt die and 4 me its more of an art, the idea is to try and avoid getting killed by the bull by jumping over it using acrobatics or moving just at the last minute.

Hon its more dangerous at the department store where I live...
Boxing day sales and half year sales...the people line up outside for hours waiting and then once the doors are opened...hole
This year two over sized women got into a punch up over a pair of trousers...I don't think either could fit into them anyhow.

the bull or toro is often drugged and injured b4 hand to make it aggresive. It is a group of people with spears, swords and armoured horses against a bull that is basically tortured for half an hour then killed by stabbing a sword through its neck piercing its heart, if its lucky the bullfighter gets it the first time.
dont support them.

BAN BULLFIGHTS

flamencos much more of an art.

Oh god.. u just reminded me of the time I saw a Bullfight in Madrid.. I had no idea it was so violent... I got upset and tried to leave and one of the doormen tried to stop me from leaving....saying it was rude.. I had been sitting with my boyfriend in front of the Presidential box... what a pack of w***kers!!... it was so upsetting to see.. the bit that made me particularly upset was when they broke the Bulls spirit.. they litterally taunt injure and tease the bull to the degree that the Bull loses the will to live and stops fighting.. heart breaking stuff.. I wanted the bull to catch one of them and beat the s**t out of them...

TOTALLY anti Bull fighting!!

rolling on the floor laughing Yeah...so?

I've seen one live bullfight and I didn't enjoy it so I haven't been since, but the bullfighters are amazing to watch. They are so graceful and skilled....and usually very easy on the eye!

It is becoming less popular nowadays particularly with the younger generation.

While a beautiful art, it's very heartbreaking too. I know that I could never participate in such a sport. The winning bull does get to live the good life with the cows and breeding. The losing bull is used to feed the poor. It's a tough balance to be sure. What a lot of folks don't know is that these bulls are best referred to as the "killer bees" of the bovine world. They're bred to be nasty and tough. And they will kill you is given the chance. However, I sure wouldn't recommend them as pets.

As a rancher, I only handle my cattle (once a year) vaccinating, branding, castrating, worming and ear tagging. After all of that, they are turned loose out into the pastures to grow as Mother Nature intended. angel
