Well Leo... that goes both ways and I've learned the hard way that if you want appreciation and respect from a man then don't do anything for him during the dating process. Don't volunteer to do his laundry, don't tidy up his apartment or house, don't pick up groceries and toilet paper.... because pretty soon it becomes expected and taken for granted and you'll be expected to keep it up for the rest of your life....

I've found that in general men have much more respect for a woman and treat her better if she starts out being a bit of a princess and every once in a while does something nice... like kidnap her guy for a romantic moonlight picnic or buy him a new shirt just because....

Believe me we know that all the stuff you do in the beginning to impress us isn't going to last... so we have to make the most of it while you're still making an effort to win us... we know the score as soon as you've got us!!!teddy bear

What about the woman that goes to work while the husband sits on his azzz at home?.

What about the woman that is expected to walk around looking like a barbie doll?.

What about the woman that also works, but seems to have to do the cooking in the evening evernight also?.

What about the woman that wants him to be a 'nice guy' because he isn't ?

Like I said this can be very much open to both sides.

Not just the poor me males.

With the social revolution of the 60's, men were castrated en masse. We no longer have beasts to slay, nor wood to chop. We are now adrift in a sex-less world.

Painting every woman with the same brush.

Would be like women painting men with the same brush.

Woman are not all the same! as I'm sure men aren't. If we walk around with that opinion then we are doomed for disaster in my opinion.

I take it from reading your posts you're hurt in some way, and I'm sorry about that. But posting a thread on how bad woman are surely isn't helping you out. It's just making you look insecure if anything Leo.

I'm sure we have all had bad experiences, but is how we build the bridge and climb over it that matters.

Maybe I'm too factual and non-impressive. I don't go out of my way to impress anyone, I just tell it like it is. That may sound boring but what you see is what you get. Faults and all!
Never had much interest in faerie tales or myths and I for one don't intend on living in one. If you're looking to get treated like a princess or a queen, either earn that right or look elsewhere. That doesn't mean that I won't treat you with the respect you deserve.
This might sound harsh but love me for who I am, not what you think I could or should be. I'm me and I doubt I'm changing anytime soon. It took me a lifetime to get this far and I don't think I'm all that bad.

Never try to impress a woman, because if you do she'll expect you to keep up the standard for the rest of your life. There lies our problem. It's hard enough being a man with all the macho posturing, puffing up our chests, pretending to be in control, faking answers to questions for which we don't have a clue.

C'mon ladies, give us a break, just love us for who we pretend to be.

Try being honest from the get go. Saves alot of time as far as I'm concerned. Do you really want to be with someone who just liked your facade?

Sorry, gotta side with the women on this one. It goes both ways. Stay true to yourself and save the headache.

Fake people suck...be it male or female...

When I was married, I did all the laundry, most of the house cleaning, half the cooking and all of the shopping. All the home renovations, car repairs etc. Yes, I had a full time job as well. I loved it.
