DJs and Live Musicians NEVER work well together. I was with a James Brown Tribute Band and we tried to incorporate a DJ into Our Live performance. His pathetic rhythmless Scratching noises DESTROYED the entire performance.

I have to disagree with you...I think that in addition to the band, as the band is usually very good, the DJ has to have a sense of the true art of music and the true art of spinning...

I do have to say I'm not a DJ, but I am a musician...but it has to work with the music...you can play Celine Dion and expect a DJ to scratch well with it...it has to work very well together...

That being said, I'm hearing:

Daydreamin' featuring Jill Scott - Lupe Fiasco happy place
