I did once know a "Lady of the Night" - and came to quite admire her. She had no education - no fault of hers - but she had such compassion for the orphans of young girl prostitutes and the only way to provide them with a home of their own was to go into "business" for herself. When I knew her she had bought a humble home on a beautiful piece of land and had 7 kids to care for - very happy kids too. She went on to own 3 massage parlours/brothels - her Mom ran the one, her boyfriend ran the other, and she took care of her original.

She told me that she did not care what she did for a living ..... with her limited education the only other job she could be lucky to get would be as a till girl in a supermarket - earning a pittance. Now she owned her own fancy sportscar and her own property and had good investments for her old age..... and 3 thriving businesses.

Her only problems were the regular police raids and fines she had to pay - if she had not paid her "protection" money to the authorities!

This is a foggy area for me as well ... Have no bloody clue ... although if to think logically after 10-15 clients per day it is might affect the feeling of being horny.
