Ironicly, it does amuse me how this subject always seems to find fault in the woman.
Are we forgetting the males? No one seems to find fault in their selling sexual favors.

Do any of you realize that there are legal requirements for women in some EU countries to perform prostitution services in order to remain entitled to government services?

In Germany, my sister was required to agree to a prostitution job, if she wanted to continue to receive her monthly support from welfare services(She has two children...)... either that or find a job that would hire her.

Doe this apply to men too , Are there any cases that you know of?

Oddly enough, the only male prostitutes I've known were gay & illegally working in the US.
I know of NO countries that make provisions for males... although I was informed that the gay men in Milan were regulated in a similar way to the women. I never saw any though.

I often see sexual mentality placing double standards squarely in the laps of women & in hush hush comments behind their backs, degrading them for self empowerment through sex/erotica/nudity means... but when a man takes the same job, he's a stud, a beast & high fived for his conquests.
As humans, many of us("many") want to see equality between the sexes yet hold onto these notions.

Thoughts, anyone?

It's kind of funny actually, the gay guys in the us have figured out that the wealthy older(50+) women are willing to spoil & pay for beautiful company- that's company, not sex.
Many cities that have those polished up, pretty gay guys also have happy wealthy women hanging on their arms & paying their rent, car bills & what have you.
It function with a twist... a smart gay guy figured out that women simply wanted to be listened to & adored... and that the rewards were impressive.

Now who do you thing he got that idea from... a house wife or a prostitute?

wink

I think you're right. Men get credit and women get bashed for doing basically the same thing (Selling sex, stripping, etc). Same is true with normal relationships. Men can have numerous partners/conquests but if a woman does it, she's a slut. Go figure...

I think it's interesting too that a female prostitute is often times seen as a home wrecker. Is see them more as paid facilitators for a man hell bent on destroying his own marriage. JMO

There are gigalo agencies here, not widely publicized but they exist. Also many women come on 'girlie' holidays in the summer and pick up the young guy's that work in the bars.

Dont mistake me .. but i think you should reconsider the way you frame the " thread titles " and please make an opening post to discuss the title.

This is a suggestion thats all.

I am no one to say anything so you may disregard it if you like.

Riyablossom I have been watching and listening to what you have been saying in all the treads. I think you are one of the most caring and sweetest girls I have ever witnessed. Don't ever change.
But I am more out spoken and I just don't think this guy understands manors or gentle words. If he did he would not post such agravating threads.
I really belive he is posting this stuff to see how much anyone will take. he is trying to anger people!
And Riyablossom, don't apologize for speaking your mind we all like what you have to say! You are truley a sweetheart!

No some people make a very good living and earn alot of money to feed themselves and their family. others make a very good living and earn way above the national average, others enjoy it. And people that hire them (men and Women) may just wanna have fun or maybe feel a compulsion to pay for those services and a service is all it is.

I do however thing that it should be confined to home visits or a brothel, and there shouldn't be any roaming the streets asking for work.

I haven't and won't ever use one but im not so narrow minded that just because i dont want they shouldn't exist.

Sorry, but that's just a cart-load of crap...

I chose flipping burgers, and serving drinks in a bar, an applied to student loans (yes, they are available) to put myself through school...

I have three kids... and I would start all over again, studying laying on my stomach late at night by myself, not on my back or on all fours...

I'm glad you feel proud of yourself for having done it... and please let us know if one of your children, girl or boy, decides to go into prostitution to follow family traditions and continues with the family business to put her/him self through school... I would love to hear your thoughts on that...

Sorry for the rant... JMHO
