I didnt get the flower until after I had posted that. I am sorry for the name calling. I felt as though you were still trying to make it seem that I was a horrible person, and that i wanted this war. Especially when you referenced my writing that we need to come up with a solution as what solution destroying a country... etc... I dont like this war at all, but i have family and friends in the military whom I love and respect a lot, and I cant stand to see them talked about like they are a bunch of horrible evil killing machines.

I did lose my cool, and now would like to take the time to write on here where everyone can see that I am sorry. I am sorry to oslo for the name calling, that was very rude and way out of line and character for me.

I am also sorry to anyone else whom I may have offended on here, but my viewpoints remain the same and will always stay the same. It is a very stupid war, I agree with that as do most. But most dont understand that it is not our military who choose to go to be in this war. We have to have a military for our own defense. If not, then our country wouldnt stand a chance. I agree with the above post, we should have a branch set aside for homeland defense so that our soldiers could choose not to go and fight in stupid wars. If this was an option before this war started, this war probably would never have happened...

With that, I am sorry if I have been rude or offensive in any way, that was not my intention at all. I merely wanted to say that I dont think it would be right to leave that country as it is right now. Then it kinda just escelated from there because I suppose I didnt post as clearly as I should have and everyone kinda started being mean to me, so naturally my defences went up...

Truely sorry and now I take my leave from this aweful thread... and the chicken man who started it and ran... makin a mental note not to open any posts by loveonly ever again as they are all crap and just get me all pissed off!!

So hopefully nobody hates me and we can all be friends again, especially sorry to oslo!!

Did you know that of the so called 90,000 civilians killed in Iraq that 96% of them were killed by fellow Iraqis, and of the british and american troops who lost thier lives there...99.8% were killed by iraqis too while trying to keep them from killing each other

Have I been mis reading this thread? (very possible as am knackered) or have people actually been having a dig at our armed forces personnel for the job they're doing in Iraq and Afghan?

I wonder if any of these people would like to go to Sellyoak and tell my friend who lost his legs on Christmas eve (stepped on a landmine, also lost an arm) that what he was doing there was wrong!

I have the utmost respect for the guys and girls who are over seas fighting against terrorism in our name! As such, I have every intention of joining the Army myself soon as possible (the forms are in)..

Again, if I've got it all wrong I apologise.. (Probably a random arsed rant as well.. Must sleep)

Nope, didnt misread anything, thats exactly what was happening!! Just wish you and all the other late entrants would have been here earlier as i was fighting a losing battle! I think I did a pretty good job on defending them though!! Hope I did anyway!! I tried my best!!

I find it disgraceful that people would condem the troops who are over their fighting to keep us safe! These people are hero's in my eyes, every single one of them..

I really do get offended when I hear people slagging them off and I'll argue/debate with anyone on the matter.. We need to show the troops more respect!!
