Like everyone I have my own strong fellings on this subject but will not contribute to what you obviously intend to be another HOT thread. Try putting your time and energy into doing something constructive please.

I think it is - the old argument is that it is wrong to kill the fetus because it has every right to life as a born human being.

But I view it this way:

A born human being has the abilty to survive on it's own with little or no help from anyone else, whereas a fetus developing in the womb is completely dependant on the mother for it's survival until it is born. Therefore I'd say that before birth a mother has the right to decide whether to continue with the pregnancy or abort it, it's her choice...

I know, it's shit the way it happens and people who go through with it will always find it hard. All I was saying earlier was that it should be the right of the woman to make the decision, as difficult as it may be...

I'm not against abortion if it's done for the right reasons and not used as birth control..

Even when done for the right reasons it never goes away, it stays with you every day of your life.

When I was 16 I managed to get my Ex pregnant (she was 16 too) after massively long talks about it we made the decision to abort due to the fact we were both so young and although we didn't think so at the time, pretty immature, had no money and nowhere to live... At the time it was the right decision to make but regret it every day...

hi my post wasn't aimed at you hug it's just such an immotive subject and ppl always say it is something they would never do, and i really don't believe we can say that or make judgements on others. I agree with you it does have to be the womans decision hug
